Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

Marriage & Family Therapist Associate, MA, LMFTA

I’m Miri Sampson (she/her), a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate who offers warm, person-centered therapy to individuals, couples, teens, and families.

Whether you’re navigating a painful transition, healing from trauma, exploring your identity, or seeking deeper connection in your relationships, I offer a safe and compassionate space where your full humanity is welcome.

I believe that healing begins with presence, with someone sitting beside you who honors your story, affirms your worth, and helps you reconnect with your sense of self. You don’t have to carry it all alone. Together, we’ll move at your pace toward insight, safety, and meaningful change.

My Approach to Therapy

Wherever you are in your journey, you’re welcome here. Learn more about how we can work together.

My therapeutic style is relational, trauma-informed, and deeply rooted in respect. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs — drawing from somatic awareness, mindfulness, EMDR, and systems-based thinking. Above all, I prioritize consent, collaboration, and deep listening.

In our work together, I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to explore the things that feel heavy, tender, or stuck — and supported as you discover what healing looks like for you.

I see a wide range of clients across the lifespan and life experience, from curious and creative teens to adults navigating identity, parenting, partnership, and personal growth. I especially love working with:

  • People navigating religious trauma or purity culture harm
  • Couples seeking reconnection, repair, or clarity
  • Clients exploring sexual shame, desire, or identity

  • Religious Harm Recovery – including clients impacted by purity culture, spiritual abuse, or identity suppression
  • EMDR Therapy – for clients processing trauma, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm
  • ADHD & Neurodivergence – helping clients understand their brains and build supportive strategies
  • Relationship Therapy – for couples, families, and individuals wanting healthier patterns and deeper connection
